SecureSOCKS5 for Microsoft ISA Server 2000/2004/2006
Overview
SecureSOCKS5 is an extension application filter for Microsoft ISA Server that
allows SOCKSv5 clients to access Internet from behind Microsoft ISA Server firewall.
It forwards requests from SOCKS5 applications to the ISA Firewall service.
SOCKS5 clients are subject to ISA policy rules so it does not violate firewall security
policies. (ISA Server checks the access policy rules to determine if the SOCKS5 client application can communicate with the Internet.)
SecureSOCKS5 filter implementation is based on
RFC 1928
(SOCKS Protocol Version 5) and
RFC 1929
(Username/Password Authentication for SOCKS V5).
